Cold and Flu Tincture
The common cold and flu is generally a viral infection characterized by familiar symptoms: sore throat, headache, head and nasal congestion, coughing, watery eyes, sneezing, fever and muscle aches.
Echinacea is one of the most specific anti-viral and anti-bacterial herbs. Yarrow has been added to provide the diaphoretic property, thus allowing the body to effectively combat any fever.
Elderberry and Elderflower have been shown to have anti-viral properties, but also contains vitamin C which is a potent anti-oxidant.
Directions: 1-5 ml three times daily in water or juice.
Cautions: Do not use in pregnancy.
