Headache
Headache

The common headache is usually due to muscular tension. However, there are many possible causes. For example, a headache may be due to stress, exposure to strong sun, pre-menstrual tension, over-indulging in alcohol or drugs, or poor posture. If a headache is very severe or persistent, or results from a head injury, then seek immediate medical advice.

Tension headaches tend to be on both sides of your head. They start at the back of the head and move forward. Migraines are severe and recurrent. They often are accompanied by other symptoms like blurred vision and nausea. Migraines are more focussed on one side of the head.

To try and find the cause of your headache you can keep a diary of what you eat and your habits and environment. Try some relaxation methods to reduce the headaches in severity and frequency.
