Lemon (Citrus limon)
Lemon is used as an air disinfectant for infectious diseases, colds, fever, throat infections, and asthma. Used for heartburn, varicose veins, bleeding injuries, rheumatism, gout, insect bites, and swelling. Also used in skin preparations for oily skin, swollen or infected skin, broken blood vessels, freckles, weak nails, oily hair, dandruff, and to dye blond hair.
Cautions
Lemon oil may irritate sensitive skin when exposed to sun.
