Perspiration - Excessive
Perspiration - Excessive

How much you sweat depends on how many sweat glands you have. A person is born with about two to four million sweat glands. The glands start to become fully active during puberty. Women actually have more sweat glands then men -- the men's glands are just more active.

Most cases of excessive perspiration are due to natural causes; exercise, heat and strong emotions. Excessive sweating is known medically as diaphoresis, and is a condition of profuse sweating not brought on by these conditions.

When sweating occurs in response to social situations, underlying anxiety or depression is usually the root cause. It may also be that the body is trying to detoxify itself and needs support through this process.

This can be treated using the Detox Tincture in conjunction with Aloe Vera.

If the perspiration is brought on by a feeling of depression then you could use the Blues Tincture to assist in elevating your moods and nourishing the nervous system.
