Where does Camellia oil originate from?

Fushi’s Camellia oil is cold pressed from the seeds of camellias (Camellia japonica), a kind of evergreen shrub with shiny leaves and rose-like flowers. The camellia plant grew in East Asia and China and is considered an Asian treasure now being utilised and benefiting the rest of the world. Camellia oil is often referred to as the ‘olive oil of Asia’. Fushi’s Camellia oil originates from South China where it has natively been grown for centuries.

Camellia oil is known to be a multi-purpose moisturiser. This oil is beneficial for the skin as well as the hair. Camellia oil can be used as an emollient for dry skin and may help with acne.
