Always buy oils labelled as cold-pressed as this method of production produces oils of a higher quality. For coconut oil specifically, as well as looking for cold-pressed, also look for extra-virgin and unrefined. These labels indicate the least amount of processing. Avoid coconut oil that’s labelled as deodorized!
