Bee pollen is a highly concentrated source of essential elements and the most complete food in nature. It contains all water-soluble vitamins, especially high in B and C, 22 amino acids, 27 minerals including calcium, magnesium, zinc, copper and iron.

Bee pollen, also known as Wild Flower Pollen, is created by bees from the pollen of the male stamen of flowers. Worker bees collect and transport the pollen granules back to their nest within specifically structured hairs on their hind legs called ‘pollen baskets’. Bee pollen has many health benefits and has been said to be one of nature’s most complete foods. It has long been prescribed by age old practitioners, and was even endorsed by the Father of Western medicine, Hippocrates. It has also been used in Chinese herbal medicine products. One of the benefits of Bee pollen is it enhances vitality, and is said to increase longevity. Bee pollen is rich in protein, contains the B vitamin complex, along with vitamins A, C, D, E, selenium, lecithin and powerful phytochemicals (carotenoids and bioflavonoids). The various therapeutic health benefits of bee pollen are believed to largely stem from the antioxidant and disease preventing properties of bioflavonoids and carotenoids.

Fushi superfoods are bio-dynamically grown, cold processed and 100% raw to retain their complete nutritional properties. They are grown and derived from sustainable sources. We believe in being honest to our customers, kind to our planet and responsible for our actions.

For the packaging of our Superfoods we have chosen to use glass, a recyclable material. We do not use the more popular laminated pouches as these are unrecyclable. We aim to use materials that are best for the planet, and reflect our ethos of being earth friendly. So they might not be as pretty, but they’re kinder for the planet!
